LITIGATION LEGAL SECRETARY | BRISBANE CBD

We are working with a respected commercial litigation firm in the Brisbane CBD seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to support their team. The firm is highly regarded for its disputes expertise, including commercial litigation, insolvency, and construction disputes, and has an excellent reputation for providing a skilled and supportive environment to their people.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a legal secretary who is seeking a long-term, stable role in a collaborative team.

About the Role

You’ll be a key support to fee earners across a wide range of litigation matters including contract disputes, insolvency, construction and property litigation.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Drafting, amending and formatting legal documents and correspondence
- File and matter management, both digital and physical
- Preparing briefs to counsel and court documents
- Diary and email management, scheduling and travel bookings
- Monthly billing and time entry using legal software
- Liaising with clients,



barristers and courts professionally

About You

- Minimum 1 year experience as a Legal Secretary (senior secretaries are also encouraged to apply!)
- Strong skills in document preparation and time management
- Ability to work independently while contributing as part of a team
- Professional, friendly approach with excellent communication skills
- Prior experience using legal billing/document systems (LEAP etc.)
