Field Service Technician | Gas Detection, Breathing Apparatus

Reporting into theService Team Leader- QLD,the new Field Service Technician will be basedinregion of Gladstone, QLD,and travelingregularlyto regionalcustomersitesin Gladstone, circa 4 x1 week(away from home) trips to Central QLD,andad hocinterstate, as andwhere required. You will play a keyrole in servicing our diverse customers by using their strong technical skills, computer competency, and ability to learn and adapt to our ever-evolving products.

Key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

- Maintain, repair, and test Draeger safetyproducts;
- Produce work conducted reports forcustomers;
- Prepare detailed quotations forcustomers;
- Maintainaccurateservicerecords;
- Provide high quality service and support to ourcustomers;
- Onsite customer user and maintenancetraining;
- Travel regularly toregionalcustomer sites inGladstone, Central QLD, and occasionallyto other States,asrequired;
- Apply a compliance focused mindset across all operations,and;

The ideal candidate will be equipped with the following attributes:

- 2+ years’ post-trade experience and proven competency in a similarposition;
- Willingness to travel regularly to metro and regional client sites, and ad-hocinterstate;
- Capacity to effectively service a range of technical safetyproducts;
- Exposure to delivering product training for a varietyofusers;
- Experience with technical documentation and diagrams,comprehendingtechnical problems presented by customers, and providing effectivesolutions;
- Well versed in effectively articulating company and product information tocustomers;




- Working knowledge of routine arithmetic calculations and pricing structures to completequotations;
- Proficient in various computer software, including Microsoft Office suite ofapplications;
- Adaptability and readiness to handle multiple, changing priorities in a quick-pacedenvironment;
- Exemplary understanding of compliance rules, with a proactive mindset and the ability to act as a role model in upholding and promoting compliancestandards;
- Strong customer focus, problem solving, communication, organisational, and task managementskills;
- Team player with a positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn,and;
- CurrentDriversLicense.

A Police Check will berequiredfor this position.
