The Role
As a Driver / Waste Collection Operator, you'll drive one of our company light trucks (4.5-tonne GVM), which can be operated with a standard full Australian driver's licence.

You'll travel to customer homes throughout Sydney, empty household wheelie bins into our collection bins, then return the waste to our Kingswood depot where it is unloaded using electric tipping equipment.

This is a physically active role that combines driving, customer service and hands-on work.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate a company light truck (4.5-tonne GVM)
- Travel to residential customers across selected Sydney suburbs
- Empty 120L–240L household general waste and recycling wheelie bins into company collection bins
- Transport collected waste back to our Kingswood depot




- Operate electric tipping equipment to unload waste into large disposal bins
- Complete daily collection routes efficiently and safely
- Keep the vehicle clean, tidy and well presented
- Deliver friendly, qualified customer service
- Follow all company safety procedures and operational processes

Requirements

- Full NSW Driver Licence held for at least 3 years
- No previous licence suspensions
- No HR licence required
- Excellent driving skills with a safe driving history
- Clean driving record (TfNSW Driving Record will be required)
- Physically fit and able to manoeuvre full 120L–240L wheelie bins throughout the day
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Police Check required
- Student visa holders and temporary visa holders are welcome to apply

Shift Information

- Early morning starts from 7:00 AM
- Week 1: Paid training (approximately 4–5 hour shifts), including weekends
- Week 2 onwards: Approximately 8–9 hour shifts
- Start and finish each shift at our Kingswood depot (NSW 2747)
- Random drug and alcohol testing may be conducted while on duty
