Experienced Medical Receptionist Part Time or Full Time role available

This is a part-time or full-time opportunity for the right candidate to join our lovely team!

A brand new specialist practice, state-of-the-art, custom-built, luxury space! We are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our growing team. You will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service and administrative support to our patients and medical professionals. This is a full-time position designed for a medical administration superstar who understands the importance of first impressions and the pivotal role the reception team play in our patient journey.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice in a friendly and professional manner

Scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and coordinating referrals

Processing patient payments, handling incoming calls, and responding to patient inquiries

Maintaining and organising the reception area to ensure it is clean, tidy, and welcoming

Inbound and outbound calls

Processing incoming emails, Gentu tasks and internal Teams messaging

Providing general administrative support to the healthcare team as required

Participating in regular team meetings designed to innovate and elevate both our patient care and our workflows

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Surgical Specialist Medical Receptionist is essential

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with patients, doctors,



and colleagues in a professional and empathetic manner

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate record-keeping and appointment scheduling

Proficiency in using medical practice management software (Gentu or Genie highly regarded) and other relevant computer applications

A genuine interest in the healthcare industry and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care

A solid work ethic with a growth mindset
