APG Workforce are currently seeking an experienced Welder (TIG) for an exciting opportunity based at the Homebush Rail Equipment Centre.

Location: Homebush, NSW
Start Date: ASAP (pending checks)
Duration: 6 months (with potential extension)
Hours: 7:15am – 3:45pm, 38 hours per week
RDO: 1 RDO every 4 weeks (no 9-day fortnight)

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform TIG welding on stainless steel (up to 6mm thickness) in line with Australian Standards
- Ensure all work meets strict quality and safety standards
- Work collaboratively to meet project deadlines

Requirements:

- Robust experience in TIG welding (essential)
- Experience with MIG welding on mild steel
- Solid fabrication skills
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
- Must have own welding helmet (all other equipment provided on-site)

PPE Requirements:

- Safety boots
- Welding helmet
- General PPE
