Dream Nannies is seeking a calm, attentive, and reliable Maternity Nanny / Mother's Helper for a skilled family based in Bridgeman Downs. The parents—a Pharmacist and a Lawyer who works partially from home—are expecting their second baby in early August.
Following a C-section recovery, the mother is looking for an extra pair of hands to provide support.
The primary focus is to assist with newborn routines, engage their toddler and assist with daily tasks so the mother can rest and recover.
The Role & Schedule
40 hours per week:
Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm
Role starts approximately 1 week post-delivery (Mid-August 2026)
for an initial 3 month contract - which may be extended
Hourly rate $40/$45 per hour - depending on experience
Duties
- Providing hands-on care for the newborn, including combination feeding routines
- Sterilising bottles and breast pump equipment
- Washing and folding the newborn’s laundry
- Caring for the toddler while the parents rest or focus on the newborn
- Assisting with light tidying of main living areas (excluding heavy cleaning)
Requirements
- Proven experience with newborns, infant care, and toddlers
- A calm, attentive, and gentle nature personality
- Ability to take direction well while being a proactive extra pair of hands around the home
