About the role

EC Throsby Pty Ltd is seeking a MC Truck Driver - Local Work (Home Daily) to join our transport and logistics operations based in Whittingham, NSW. This is a full-time position offering local work with the advantage of returning home daily. As an MC Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating articulated trucks on designated local routes, ensuring timely delivery of freight whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. This role is integral to our logistics operations and directly impacts our ability to serve our clients reliably and efficiently.

What you'll be doing

- Operating articulated (MC) trucks safely and professionally on local delivery routes around the Whittingham area
- Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure trucks are mechanically sound and road-worthy
- Planning and executing efficient delivery schedules to meet client requirements and deadlines
- Loading and securing freight appropriately, ensuring compliance with weight distribution and safety regulations
- Maintaining accurate logbooks and delivery documentation in accordance with transport regulations
- Communicating effectively with dispatch, customers and other team members to coordinate deliveries
- Adhering strictly to all road safety regulations, speed limits and traffic laws
- Performing basic vehicle maintenance and reporting mechanical issues promptly
- Maintaining a professional approach to customer service and client relations at all delivery points

What we're looking for

- Valid MC (Articulated Truck) Driver's Licence
- Current Australian Driver Licence with a clean driving record




- Proven experience operating MC trucks in a commercial transport environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of road safety regulations and transport compliance requirements
- Ability to read and interpret delivery schedules, maps and logbooks accurately
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks associated with freight handling
- Reliability and commitment to punctuality
- A qualified attitude with a focus on safety, quality and customer service
- Willingness to work flexible hours as required by operational demands
