The Leisure and Lifestyle Officer (LLO) plays an essentialrole in facilitating meaningful activities that align with resident'spreferences, interests, and care plans. This role involves supporting theSenior LLO and the team to ensure residents are engaged, socially active andexperiencing a fulfilling daily routine. The LLO contributes to activityplanning, execution, documentation, and evaluation ensuring that all programsreflect the diverse needs of residents.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliveringrecreation activities to our residents and actively support them tomaintain their physical, intellectual, emotional, cultural, and socialwellbeing.
- Completingassessments, reviews and ongoing evaluation of the lifestyle program toensure positive client outcomes and support ongoing education andimprovements in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards
- Greetresidents and inform them about the activities of the day and encouragingthem to attend the program
- Maintaininga positive and culturally inclusive environment that supports dignity andresident's choice.
- Engagewith residents during meals, providing support where required.
- Support Residents with person care needs during activities (e.g. mobility, dining, toileting support where required)
- Work collaboratively with care staff to ensure residents’ wellbeing during engagement programs

Skills and Experience:

- CertificateIV in Lifestyle and Leisure (or equivalent)
- CurrentFirst Aid & CPR or willingness to obtain
- Experiencein leading lifestyle activities
- Strongability to develop lifestyle care plans




- Knowledgeof Aged Care National Quality Standards
- Abilityto work collaboratively within a team, as well as the confidence to workindependently
- Greekspeaking preferred to support our resident demographic
- Strongcommunication and interpersonal skills, particularly with aged persons,relatives and other health professionals.
