At SIGNWAVE NEWCASTLE we are leaders in visual communications, delivering high-impact signage, custom vehicle graphics, and full fleet wraps. We're looking for an experienced Vehicle Installer / Vinyl Applicator to join our busy production team.

The Role

In this hands‑on role, you will be responsible for preparing, applying, and finishing vinyl graphics and full wraps on a wide variety of vehicles—from trade vans and cars to trucks and commercial fleets.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare vehicle surfaces (cleaning, degreasing, removing trim/handles where required).
- Install cut vinyl, spot graphics, partial wraps, and full colour-change/printed vehicle wraps.
- Work with premium materials following industry best practices.
- Inspect completed work to ensure zero bubbles, lifting, or defects before delivery.




- Assist with general sign installation or workshop assembly when vehicle work is light.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work bay.

What We’re Looking For

- Experience: 2+ years of hands‑on experience in vehicle vinyl application or vehicle wrapping (Sign Industry / Fleet Graphics).
- Attention to Detail: Pride in your craftsmanship—clean edges, smooth finishes, and strict quality control.
- Technical Skill: Experience with post‑heating techniques, knife‑less tape, and surface preparation.
- Driver’s Licence: Current Australian C‑Class Driver’s Licence (Manual preferred but not essential).
- Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a fast‑moving team.
