About the Role: What Makes This Prospect Special?

In this dynamic position, you will take ownership of an established and diverse portfolio of mid-market accounts. The role seamlessly blends exceptional client care with strategic market development. You will secure existing relationships while naturally identifying recent business avenues and cross-marketing opportunities to support the growth of the branch.

Furthermore, you will have the rewarding opportunity to shape the future of the team by guiding, developing, and mentoring assistant account executives and entry-level brokers.

Duties: What Will Your Day-to-Day Look Like?

You will engage in diverse, high-impact activities designed to protect your clients' interests and elevate branch performance:

- Cultivate and Partner: Service a dedicated portfolio of mid-market clients, ensuring smooth, professional account management and exceptionally high levels of satisfaction.
- Strategic Broking:



Collaborate closely with team members and claims specialists to design and implement innovative renewal strategies.
- Industry Collaboration: Build and maintain deep, trusted relationships with underwriters, insurers, and key service providers.
- Empower Rising Talent: Actively support the professional growth, training, and development of junior brokers within the ecosystem.
- Compliance & Precision: Gather essential client information to produce accurate renewal documentation and reports in total alignment with current financial services legislation.

Skills and Experience: What Will Help You Succeed?

The ideal candidate brings a blend of technical expertise, regulatory compliance, and a relationship-driven mindset:

- Sector Expertise: Sound experience working within the General Insurance broking industry in a similar account management capacity.
- Credentials: Diploma of Insurance Broking FNS51215, current registration on the FSPR, or an equivalent recognized insurance qualification.
- Connection Focus: An outstanding ability to build and maintain enduring, trust-based relationships with diverse clients and stakeholders.
- Mindset: A highly organized, efficient, and proactive approach to managing deadlines and targets, backed by strong attention to detail and resilience under pressure.
