Tax Lawyer (Associate) - National Practice

THE ROLE

Join one of Brisbane's largest and most respected taxation practices, where you'll work alongside recognised specialists on complex advisory matters for private clients, businesses and national organisations.

This is an opportunity to become involved in sophisticated taxation work that extends well beyond technical advice. You'll work closely with colleagues across Corporate & Commercial, Property and Private Client teams, providing strategic input on business transactions, restructures, succession planning and wealth structuring.

With a strong pipeline of advisory work and direct client exposure from the outset, you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of matters, build trusted client relationships and continue developing your technical expertise within a collaborative and well-supported team.

Your work will include:

- Advising on income tax, GST, payroll tax, land tax and transfer duty matters
- Structuring businesses, trusts and investments to achieve commercial and taxation outcomes
- Preparing and advising on trust deeds, restructures, succession planning and estate-related matters
- Providing taxation advice on corporate transactions, acquisitions and commercial projects
- Working directly with clients while mentoring junior members of the team.

ABOUT YOU

You'll ideally have:

- 4+ years' PAE in taxation or a related commercial practice
- Experience advising on income tax, GST and/or state taxation matters
- Solid analytical, drafting and communication skills
- An interest in advisory,



structuring and transactional tax work
- Experience in corporate, commercial, property or private client matters will be highly regarded
