Verve Partners is partnering with a respected boutique engineering consultancy specialising in water and wastewater infrastructure. The team delivers projects from investigation and concept development through to detailed design, construction support and handover. As a Senior Civil Drafter, you will work closely with engineers, clients and project stakeholders to produce high-quality designs and documentation across pipelines, pump stations, treatment facilities and bulk water infrastructure.

This role would suit an experienced drafter/designer who enjoys technical variety, project ownership and working within an agile, experienced team without excessive corporate processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Produce detailed 3D drawings and models for water and wastewater infrastructure
- Develop pipeline alignments, profiles, pipe networks, layouts and construction documentation
- Prepare designs for pump stations, treatment facilities and bulk water assets
- Translate engineering concepts and calculations into accurate, practical drawings
- Review and update documentation in response to engineering and client feedback
- Identify design and constructability issues and contribute to practical solutions
- Maintain drawing registers, document control and version management
- Coordinate with engineers, clients, councils and other project stakeholders
- Ensure designs meet relevant standards, specifications and compliance requirements

What You’ll Bring





- Approximately 10 years’ drafting experience for Australian civil infrastructure projects
- Extensive experience designing large-scale pipelines and water infrastructure projects
- Strong experience with alignments, profiles, pipe networks, surfaces and construction documentation
- Hands‑on experience with Autodesk Civil3D
- Ability to interpret engineering calculations, specifications and design requirements
- Strong attention to detail, technical judgement and problem‑solving capability
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines
- Experience working directly with engineers and multidisciplinary project teams
- Current Australian driver’s licence and willingness to travel locally when required
