We’re looking for a passionate and commercially savvy Senior Commercial Finance Accountant or Finance Business Partner to join our friendly finance team at 3Bridges Community. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you’ll play a vital role in our organisational transformation. You’ll deliver clear management reporting, manage government grants, and work closely with our Aged Care, OOSH, and Community Services teams to turn financial insights into real-world impact.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and service line P&Ls; across our programs
- Partner with managers in Aged Care, OOSH, and Community Services to support operational decisions
- Manage end-to-end grant acquittals for multiple government funding agreements
- Lead month-end processes, reconciliations, and support external auditsHandle banking, BAS, and payment compliance with accuracy and care
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling for new initiatives




- Act as the go-to expert for MS Dynamics Business Central - helping optimise reporting and dashboards
- Ensure strong compliance with ACNC, NDIS, aged care, and OOSH funding rules

About You

You’re a collaborative, analytical accountant who cares about making a difference in the not-for-profit sector. You enjoy explaining numbers in plain English and working alongside program teams.

You will bring:

- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or Business (CA/CPA qualified or actively working towards)
- 4+ years post-qualification experience in management accounting (or 7+ years if working towards CA/CPA)
- Hands-on experience with MS Dynamics Business Central
- Background in grant-funded environments, ideally in aged care, community services or education
- Solid Excel skills and familiarity with Power BI
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with non-finance stakeholders
- A proactive, positive attitude and desire to continuously improve processes
