The Role:

The role calls for a Collections Officer who can steady the ship across the levy arrears process and support reliable cashflow for the strata buildings they manage.
Working with an established Finance team of 6 team members, you’ll work closely with the strata managers, committees, owners and legal partners, using a structured and transparent recovery process.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor overdue levy accounts and issue reminder notices
- Liaise with owners regarding arrears, payment options and next steps
- Accurately document all communication and actions
- Escalate matters in line with legislation and internal procedures
- Prepare complete and compliant referral files for legal action
- Keep Strata Managers and Committees informed throughout the process
- Contribute to improvements in recovery procedures and templates
Specific requirements
- Background in debt recovery, finance, or strata management
- Confidence working within legislation and structured processes
- Experience using industry software and systems
- Solid communication skills with the ability to explain obligations clearly
