Our client is a growing professional services business delivering HR, compliance, legal and business advisory services to franchise networks and privately owned businesses across Australia. Their Business & HR Solutions division partners with clients to simplify workforce management, strengthen compliance and implement practical systems that improve the way businesses operate.

With continued growth across their client portfolio, they are looking to appoint an HRIS (Tanda) & Workforce Specialist to take ownership of workforce system implementation, optimisation and compliance across multiple businesses.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Business & HR Solutions, this is a hands‑on position where you'll combine workforce technology, compliance and client advisory. You'll work across multiple client environments implementing and configuring Tanda, translating modern awards into system rules, supporting HRIS implementations and ensuring workforce and payroll processes remain compliant with Fair Work legislation.

Rather than supporting one internal business, you'll partner directly with clients, helping them build compliant workforce systems, improve operational efficiency and reduce payroll risk.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Implementing, configuring and maintaining Tanda across multiple client environments
- Building employee profiles, classifications, pay conditions and award rules
- Configuring timekeeping, breaks, overtime, allowances and payroll inputs
- Translating Modern Awards and award‑free arrangements into compliant system configurations
- Supporting HRIS and CRM implementations, including data migration, testing and validation
- Performing workforce, payroll and Fair Work compliance audits
- Providing system support, troubleshooting and advice to clients and internal stakeholders
- Maintaining accurate employee records and system integrity across multiple platforms
- Preparing reports and compliance documentation for clients and senior leadership




- Identifying opportunities to improve workflows, reduce compliance risk and enhance workforce processes
- Working closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, Compliance and Operations teams across multiple projects

About You

You're someone who enjoys solving problems through systems. You understand that workforce technology is more than software, it's about ensuring legislation, payroll and business operations all work together accurately.

You'll have experience implementing or configuring workforce management systems, a strong understanding of modern awards and payroll compliance, and enjoy working directly with clients to deliver practical solutions. You're naturally organised, analytical and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast‑paced consulting environment.

Skills & Experience

- Demonstrated experience configuring and administering Tanda
- Strong understanding of the Fair Work Act, Modern Awards and payroll compliance
- Experience implementing or optimising HRIS and workforce management systems
- Ability to configure employee classifications, pay conditions and workforce rules
- Experience supporting payroll integration and workforce compliance
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify compliance risks
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working across multiple entities or within a client‑facing environment will be highly regarded
- Exposure to franchise, hospitality, retail or other multi‑site workforces will be highly regarded
