Fairfield City Swim Academy is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and proactive individual to join our dynamic team as a Swim Academy Coordinator.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of permanent and casual staff to deliver high‑standard programs.
- Oversee program administration, manage enquiries, bookings and staffing requirements.
- Coordinate Learn to Swim programs, squad coaching, school programmes and other aquatic education services.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and success of the Swim Academy.
Essential Qualifications
- Relevant industry qualifications: Teacher of Swimming or Water Safety Certificate from Austswim, Royal Life Saving, Swim Australia, or AMPD.
- Current CPR Certificate.
- Current Working with Children’s Check.
- Minimum 3 years of experience within the Aquatic Industry.
- Strong understanding of the Aquatic and Learn‑to‑Swim industry and programmes.
- Demonstrated experience with facility management systems.
- Demonstrated experience in program development and implementation.
- Demonstrated experience in supervision and management of staff.
Desirable Qualifications
- Additional industry qualifications in extension (e.g., Access and Inclusion, Infants and Pre‑School, or Competitive Strokes).
- Coaching qualification.
- Assessor Certification.
- Staff performance management experience.
Salary & Employment Conditions
- Permanent position, 76 hours per fortnight between 5 am–11 pm Monday to Sunday. Commencing and finishing times adaptable depending on operational needs.
- Grade 4; salary range $80,758 p.a. with progression to $86,962 p.a. on demonstrated competencies, and performance progression to $94,595 p.a, plus 12% Super.
- Includes sick leave, annual leave entitlements and uniform provided.
