What You'll Be Working On

You'll work on a diverse range of heavy transport equipment, including:

- Livestock trailers

- Flat-top trailers

- Tippers

- Roadtrain dollies

- Fleet customer trailers and heavy vehicles

- Rytrans' own fleet of trucks, trailers and forklifts

Whether it's routine servicing, major rebuilds or diagnosing complex faults, every day brings something different.

Your Responsibilities

- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and pneumatic faults.

- Carry out servicing, preventative maintenance and safety inspections.

- Complete brake,



suspension and axle rebuilds.

- Maintain and repair customer fleet equipment.

- Service and maintain Rytrans' own trucks, trailers and forklifts.

- Identify faults and provide practical, reliable repair solutions.

- Complete service documentation accurately.

- Maintain a clean, protected and professional work environment.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

- Is trade qualified as a Heavy Vehicle/Diesel Mechanic (or has equivalent industry experience).

- Has proven experience working on semi-trailers.

- Has strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.

- Enjoys solving problems and takes satisfaction in finding practical, long-lasting solutions for customers.

- Understands that every repair helps keep a customer's business moving and takes pride in getting the job done right the first time.

- Can work independently while also contributing positively to a strong team culture.

- Takes pride in producing high-quality workmanship.

- Holds a current driver's licence (HC or MC licence is an advantage).
