About the role

Joining the team at Cambridge Collision Centre, a full-time opportunity is available for an experienced Motor Vehicle Spray Paint Prep Person to work at our workshop located in Kingston, QLD 4114. As a skilled spray paint prep person, you will play a crucial role in the vehicle repair process, ensuring a high-quality finish for our customers.

What you'll be doing

1. Thoroughly preparing vehicles for spray painting by sanding, masking, and cleaning surfaces

2. Mixing and applying primers, sealers, and other necessary coatings

3. Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

4. Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard and in a timely manner

5. Collaborating with the spray painting team to achieve the desired results

6. Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 2 years of experience as a motor vehicle spray paint prep person

2. Robust attention to detail and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy

3.



Proficient in the use of various hand and power tools related to the trade

4. Knowledge of automotive paints, primers, and preparation techniques

5. A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks

6. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

7. Must have current open vehicle licence
