What You’ll Be Doing In This Role
Reporting to our supportive Lead Dispensary Technician, we have a number of casual opportunities available within the Pharmacy Clinical Team.
In this role you’ll work closely with pharmacists, technicians, other assistants, – our dispensary robot! – outpatients and customers in our retail store. The department is fun, fast paced and consists of 25 staff per shift onsite, with the whole team consisting of 50 employees.
Shifts are available Monday – Sunday, between 7.30am‑8.30pm. You’ll need to be available to work at least 3 shifts per week, and preference will be given to candidates with more availability and flexibility.
Who We Are Looking For
- Previous experience in a Pharmacy Assistant role,
either within a hospital or community pharmacy setting. To ensure stability for our team we will prioritise applicants looking to stay with us long‑term.
- Completion of a Certified Pharmacy Assistant program (ideally).
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately input and manage data.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a genuine interest in contributing to a welcoming and supportive environment.
- Positive general computer literacy skills, including the ability to problem solve and apply logical thinking.
- Availability to work a minimum of three shifts per week on a consistent basis.
- Ability to safely lift up to 10kg on a daily basis while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
What To Expect
Successful candidates will be required to complete a range of pre‑employment checks and assessments. These vary and could include professional references, functional questionnaire, a national police check, working with children check, vaccination evidence, among others.
