Position: Temporary Part-Time Registered Nurse (Division 1) in Cardiac Services at Barwon Health.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to cardiac patients, including pre‑and post‑procedure care.
- Monitor patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions.
- Interpret ECGs and monitor vital signs, responding promptly to changes.
- Educate patients and families on heart health, treatment plans, and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate effectively with medical staff and allied health professionals.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in critical care or cardiothoracic nursing within an acute/critical care setting.
- A postgraduate certificate in critical care or cardiac nursing.
- Flexibility to adapt to rotating rosters to meet unit demands.
- Exceptional communication skills, adept time management, and a commitment to evidence‑based holistic patient care tailored to cardiac specialty services.
