KE Select is recruiting on behalf of an internationally recognised organsiation seeking an experienced Corporate Accountant to join their Sydney-based finance team.

The Opportunity
This position offers a diverse mix of financial accounting, statutory reporting, taxation, audit coordination and business partnering responsibilities.
Working within a collaborative finance team, you'll play a key role in maintaining financial integrity while supporting business operations and ensuring compliance with Australian accounting and taxation requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
- Maintain the general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations
- Coordinate external audits and statutory reporting
- Manage taxation obligations including BAS, GST, FBT and income tax
- Monitor and strengthen financial controls and governance
- Prepare management reporting and financial analysis
- Partner with stakeholders across multiple business functions
- Support finance process improvements and systems enhancements
- Work collaboratively with outsourced finance service providers where required
- Assist with ad hoc reporting and business projects
About You
We're Looking For An Experienced Finance Professional Who Enjoys Taking Ownership And Working In a Hands-on Environment. The Ideal Person Will Have The Following Experience
- Advanced SAP ERP experience (essential)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- An agile mindset with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Experience working with outsourced finance providers (BPO) will be highly regarded
- CPA or CA qualified (or working towards)
- Degree in Accounting, Commerce or Business
- Experience within a medium to large corporate environment
- Strong technical accounting and taxation knowledge
