About the Internship
You’ll work side‑by‑side with our Internal Medicine team which includes specialists, a registrar, and an experienced nursing team and will collaborate with other specialist services. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll:
- Participate in consultations, client communication and patient care
- Be part of medical procedures, involvement in assessment, diagnosis and post‑procedure care
- Gain exposure to a broad range of complex and fascinating cases
- If eligible, be encouraged (and supported) to work towards ANZCVS Small Animal Medicine Membership

What We’re Looking For
- Ideally have a minimum 2 years of veterinary experience
- Has a keen interest in internal medicine, application will be viewed favourably if they are working towards sitting membership examination
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Has a high standard of patient care
Internship Details
- Start date: January 2027
- Duration: 12 months (option to extend to 18 months)
