Role Description

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Hydraulic Engineer / Hydraulic Designer / Revit Modeller to join our Brisbane team.

This role offers the prospect to work across a diverse portfolio of projects while collaborating closely with clients, architects, developers, builders, and fellow building services professionals.

You will be involved in all stages of project delivery, from concept design and documentation through to construction support and project completion.

This position is ideal for someone who wants to further develop their technical and project delivery skills within a supportive, boutique consultancy environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and document hydraulic and fire services systems for a broad range of projects.
- Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
- Coordinate design solutions with architects, structural engineers, and other building services disciplines.




- Ensure compliance with relevant Australian Standards, NCC requirements, and local authority regulations.
- Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction.
- Respond to RFIs, review contractor submissions, and assess design variations.
- Liaise directly with clients, consultants, builders, and approval authorities.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of internal standards and design processes.

What We're Looking For

- Experience in building hydraulics design and documentation.
- Understanding of Australian Standards, NCC requirements, and relevant authority approval processes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Relevant engineering qualification or industry experience appropriate to the role.
- Experience in fire services design will be highly regarded.
