About The Role
As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure workplace while delivering a high standard of customer service. This role involves a mix of patrols, incident response, and client-facing duties.
Positions available: Part-time Night Shift
Award Level 2
Roster
Week 1
- Wednesday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Thursday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Friday: 11:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Saturday: 10:00 PM – 5:00 AM
- Sunday: 10:00 PM – 5:00 AM
- Conduct continuous patrols of assigned assets and surrounding areas to ensure safety and security.
- Monitor the condition of assets and identify any damage, hazards, maintenance concerns, or security risks.
- Promptly report incidents, maintenance issues, and suspicious activities in accordance with company procedures.
- Ensure all areas are secure and compliant with company safety standards and operational requirements.
- Carry out routine inspections and maintain accurate records of patrol activities, observations, and findings.
- Respond professionally and effectively to issues encountered during patrols, escalating matters when required.
- Work independently while maintaining a high level of vigilance, situational awareness, and attention to detail.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A valid Security Licence
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Previous security experience (retail experience highly regarded)
- Availability to work day/night and weekday/weekend shifts
- Good physical fitness, as patrols are required
- Ability to work independently and follow procedures
- Strong attention to detail
- A reliable and punctual work history
