Risk & Compliance Officer | Consumer Lending

We're partnering with a growing consumer lending business seeking a Risk & Compliance Officer to support and strengthen its risk and compliance framework across the lending lifecycle.

This is a hands‑on opportunity for someone who enjoys working across risk, compliance, governance, and regulatory obligations within a fast‑paced financial services workplace.

PART TIME - 3 days a week / pro‑rata salary

Key responsibilities

Support the ongoing development of risk and compliance frameworks, policies, and controls.

Conduct risk assessments, compliance reviews, and control testing across lending operations.

Monitor regulatory obligations, including NCCP, AML/CTF, Privacy, and credit reporting requirements.

Assist with audits, incident management, remediation activities, and governance reporting.

Support merchant onboarding, due diligence, and ongoing compliance monitoring.





Partner with stakeholders across the business to promote a strong risk culture and continuous improvement.

About you

Experience in risk, compliance, audit, or governance within consumer lending, fintech, banking, or financial services.

Sound understanding of Australian consumer lending regulations and responsible lending obligations.

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the confidence to work with stakeholders across the business.

Exposure to merchant finance or point‑of‑sale lending will be highly regarded.

Must have PR or Citizenship for Australia.
