The Role

An opportunity has arisen for a motivated talented person from a mining/engineering/process/mechanical background with skills in managing clients and experience in mineral processing, crushing and conveying to take support in sales and service diverse role within a professional but friendly workplace. This is a full-time position based in our Canning Vale Office. The role combines engineering expertise, technical sales, and hands-on in-house operations support and site support, working closely with our senior project and service engineer and general manager and our global product line managers and application engineering teams. You will play a key role in strengthening customer relationships, delivering measurable safety and reliability improvements, and driving profitable growth across our product portfolio.

You will contribute to the profitable growth of the total business, through engineering consultancy, technical support, aftermarket services and specialised processing and mechanical services on projects, project management, product application and aftermarket services.





This is a long-term career role, and we will invest in your training and development. Experience in mineral processing and conveyors will be well regarded. Experience in Crushers is a must for this role in impact crushers, sizers, jaw, cone, gyratory, roller screens, hammer mills, etc.

Responsibilities

- Sales, Service, Project Management, and delivery in relation to new machines, aftermarket parts, refurbishment, upgrade, re-engineering, installation, and commissioning support of mineral processing, crushing, feeding, and screening equipment within the mining, aggregate and recycling industries.
- Delivering and quantifying value to Key Accounts by developing, implementing, and communicating knowledge-based solutions and services.
- Developing strategic business opportunities for the full product & service portfolio at nominated Key Accounts.
- Supporting in application engineering, sales, services and project management in relevant applications and projects.
- Supporting in developing and conducting on-site product related application selection and training for customers.
- Develop long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements.
- Prepare client quotations and provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education.
- Work on after-sales support services and provide technical back up as required.

Skills & experience

- A Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Process Engineering, a trade background or equivalent level of technical expertise.
- A minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience in Crushers is a must.
- Mineral Processing, Crushing, Screening, Conveying, application knowledge in the mining and minerals processing as well as manufacturing industries will be highly regarded.
- A demonstrated understanding of reliability, maintenance and design issues related to mineral processing, crushing and screening equipment,



with some experience in conveyors.
- IT literacy; proficiency with computer software packages (Microsoft 365 Suite & typical Engineering applications, such as basic CAD)
- The ability to effectively engage, communicate and present to customers of all levels ranging from the workshop floor, site services to management.
- Demonstrated business acumen and commercial aptitude.
- Inquisitiveness, self-motivation, a drive to succeed, a can-do approach, and the ability to make sound technical decisions and deliver under pressure.
- A desire to have mixed working environment comprising of site based "hands on" tasks as well as sales, office responsibilities and reporting.
- Willingness and availability to travel within Australia including remote areas.
- A valid unrestricted driver’s license.
- Knowledge of the mining industry safety requirements.
- Able to pass a drug & alcohol test.
- Meet mine site medical health check requirements.

Hours

Office hours are from 7.30 am – 3.30 pm. The nature of this role means that the successful applicant will be required to work outside of office hours and weekends from time to time as required by customers. Time in lieu will accrue for weekends when working on customer mine sites, subject to the conditions set out in the Contract of Employment. The level of remuneration for the role reflects the hours that need to be worked.
