Key Responsibilities
- Implementation of the sales strategy and tactics for the business.
- Driving growth by servicing and selling to targeted pharmacies, hospitals, diabetes clinics and aged care facilities.
- Building on and developing well-established customer relationships in state key accounts.
- Support the implementation of the business plan to achieve sales targets.
- Manage targeted accounts and key business relationships to drive market share growth of Accu-Check Diabetes Care products and services whilst identifying opportunities for Point of Care product placements.
- Provide product and software training and education to healthcare professionals in pharmacy and hospital settings.
- Manage and record all sales interactions within the CRM system daily.
- Maintain a high level of customer, product and therapeutic knowledge.
- Ensure compliance to RDA policies and code of conduct.
- Live the Roche Vision and Values.
Who you are
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Science or Medicine or equivalent 5 – 10 years account management skills in diagnostics/OTC/healthcare within both retail pharmacy & hospital
- Proven strategic account management experience in the Diabetes therapy area is desirable.
- Ability to identify and evaluate new business opportunities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Aptitude for market development strategies to drive revenue growth, results focused skilled who knows how to win.
- Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams, as well as network internally and externally with a high level of resilience and determination to achieve sales targets.
- Ability to manage key accounts, build and enhance key relationships.
- Ability to analyse and interpret data to strategically plan and prioritise sales activities.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of market trends.
- Growth and entrepreneurial mindset with strategic thinking abilities.
- Ability to travel interstate and internationally as required.
- A valid driver’s license is essential.
