About the Employer

Mater Private Hospital Townsville is seeking experienced Registered Nurses - Scrub/Scout to join the Perioperative team. This role is based in state‑of‑the‑art theatres at Pimlico, where nurses with orthopaedic and general scrub/scout experience are preferred. Employment options include Permanent Part‑Time, Full‑Time, or Casual.

The Perioperative Services department provides surgical services across 16 theatres and caters for adults and pediatrics across various specialties.

Salary range: $42.99 - $55.14 per hour plus superannuation and up to $15,900 salary packaging.

About the Candidate

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital perioperative setting




- At least 2 years recent Scrub/Scout experience
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications will be highly regarded although not essential
- Ability to work in an ever‑changing and fast‑paced environment
- A strong work ethic, positive attitude and willingness to role model and promote the Mater values
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders internally and externally at various levels
