Job Description

As a Personal Banker at Beyond Bank’s Rouse Hill branch, you will advocate our core values and deliver exceptional service to members, aligning with our Member Ownership Strategy and achieving individual performance targets that contribute to overall branch success.

Core duties include:

- Providing a local member‑owned banking experience to new and existing members.
- Proactively connecting member needs to Beyond Bank’s offerings through excellent listening skills.
- Managing general enquiries and providing sound advice and information to members.
- Contributing to a high‑achieving team environment with commitment to success and a strong work ethic.
- Managing customer bank accounts, including opening, closing, and overseeing transactions.
- Assisting members to identify short, medium and long‑term goals and acting on this information through Banking Reviews and follow‑ups.
- Providing timely advice on a range of financial products and services, offering personal banking solutions that meet members’ needs and align with the Exceed model.
- Assisting members with unsecured lending options, such as personal loans and credit cards, and providing transparent information on terms, conditions, and repayment plans.
- Assisting members with secured lending products such as home loans and car loans, ensuring they understand features, benefits, fees, terms and overall value.
- Ensuring members understand the features, benefits, fees and value of the products and services presented.
- Collaborating with specialists in the business to deliver the best solution for the member.

Qualifications

- Excellent customer service skills.

- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated experience in a customer service, retail, sales and/or banking environment.
- Banking or financial services experience desirable but not essential.
