We're seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to cover a long service leave placement at a busy specialist clinic in Sydney, starting 10 August through to the end of November .

This is a great opportunity for a medical receptionist who's comfortable managing a fast-paced front‑of‑house setting and wants steady contract work over this period.

What you'll be doing:

- Managing patient check‑in and appointment scheduling
- Handling phone and email enquiries with a warm, skilled manner
- Processing Medicare, DVA, and private billing
- Liaising with specialists, patients, and allied health providers
- General clinic administration and support

What we're looking for:

- Proven experience as a medical receptionist, ideally within a specialist or clinical setting, with solid understanding of the healthcare environment and medical terminology
- An empathetic, patient‑focused approach — you'll be someone's first point of contact, often during a stressful time
- Comfortable with practice management software and general admin systems
