Junior Solicitor

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and assist with conveyancing matters from commencement through to settlement, including residential and commercial transactions
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents including contracts, leases, correspondence, and court documents
- Conduct legal research and prepare file notes, briefs, and advice under supervision
- Liaise with clients, agents, brokers, counsel, courts, and other solicitors
- Maintain accurate file management and ensure compliance with court and settlement deadlines
- Assist senior solicitors across a range of practice areas including property, commercial, family, and estate matters
- Attend to PEXA settlements, LEAP file management, and general practice administration
- Prepare settlement figures, adjustment calculations, and client reporting letters





Qualifications & Skills

- Admitted or recently admitted solicitor in New South Wales
- Previous experience in conveyancing and property matters preferred
- Experience using LEAP, PEXA, and Microsoft Office Suite preferred
- Strong drafting, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work in a fast-paced workplace
- Professional presentation with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a small team environment
