Lead paediatric and day surgery services in one of Australia’s most unique regional health settings.

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and passionate nursing leader to join Katherine Hospital as the Clinical Nurse Manager, Alan Bromwich Ward (Paediatric/Day Surgery). This is a rewarding leadership role where you will influence the delivery of safe, high-quality and culturally responsive care for children, young people and day surgery patients across Katherine and the broader Big Rivers Region.

About the Role

As the Clinical Nurse Manager, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for Alan Bromwich Ward and Day Surgery Services, ensuring contemporary clinical practice, exceptional patient experiences and effective service delivery.

You will:

- Lead and support a multidisciplinary team delivering paediatric inpatient and day surgery services
- Drive excellence in clinical care, patient safety and quality improvement
- Manage workforce planning, budgets and resources to support sustainable service delivery
- Lead service development initiatives and operational planning
- Collaborate with visiting specialists, executive management and key stakeholders to improve patient outcomes

You are an experienced nursing leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about supporting children, families and staff. You will bring:

- Demonstrated high-level leadership and management experience within a complex healthcare environment
- Strong people-management skills and the ability to lead teams through change
- Experience driving quality improvement and service development initiatives
- Excellent communication, relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills
- A commitment to culturally responsive healthcare delivery
- Sound operational and resource management capability
