Akkodis is seeking an experienced HVAC Mechanic to support critical infrastructure across Sydney Airport and regional NSW locations.
This is a unique prospect to work on complex HVAC and mechanical systems while gaining exposure to specialised technologies including RADAR, power generation systems, communications equipment, and mission-critical infrastructure . Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on HVAC and mechanical systems.
- Maintain chilled water systems, cooling towers, AHUs, BMS, packaged units, and split systems.
- Carry out installation, commissioning, and upgrade projects.
- Diagnose faults and perform troubleshooting activities.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and compliance records.
- Support continuous improvement and safe work practices.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Certificate III in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
- Current ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence.
- NSW Restricted Electrical Licence.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence.
- White Card and CPR/LVR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Proven HVAC maintenance and installation experience.
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
Desirable
- Experience with diesel generators or power generation systems.
- Forklift or Dogging Licence.
- Experience within airports, utilities, defence, transport, manufacturing, or critical infrastructure environments.
