The Opportunity

As Principal Geotechnical Engineer, you'll combine technical excellence with leadership, providing guidance across complex investigations, geotechnical design, reporting and project delivery.

You'll be involved in everything from winning work and developing client relationships through to mentoring engineers and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest technical standards.

This is a role where your opinion genuinely matters. You'll help influence technical direction, support business growth and play a significant part in developing the next generation of geotechnical engineers.

What You'll Be Doing

- Leading complex geotechnical investigations and engineering projects.




- Providing technical leadership and mentoring to engineers across the business.
- Developing long-term relationships with clients and identifying new opportunities.
- Reviewing technical reports, investigations and engineering recommendations.
- Managing project delivery, budgets, quality and commercial outcomes.
- Working closely with senior management to support the continued growth of the geotechnical team.
- Contributing to business strategy, operational improvements and technical excellence.

About You

You'll already be operating at Senior, Associate or Principal level and be looking for an opportunity where you can have greater influence over both projects and the direction of the business.

You'll ideally possess:

- Around 10+ years' Australian geotechnical consulting experience.
- Strong experience delivering geotechnical investigations and design projects.
- CPEng, NER, RPEQ or working towards registration.
- Well-developed client relationship and business development skills.
- A genuine passion for mentoring engineers and building high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and commercial awareness.
