We are seeking an experienced Work Health & Safety (WHS) Officer to lead and support workplace health and safety initiatives across the Home.
This position is offered as a part-time role (0.6 FTE), with working days negotiable. For the right candidate, there is the opportunity to expand the role into a full-time Work Health & Safety and Compliance Officer position by taking on additional responsibilities in governance, compliance, organisational data collection, monitoring, analysis and reporting.

What You'll Bring
You will be a proactive and organised WHS professional with the ability to build strong relationships and promote a positive safety culture. Experience in aged care, healthcare or a similar workplace will be highly regarded.
Your skills & experience
- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (BSB41419) or higher
- Proven experience in risk management, incident investigation and workers' compensation/return-to-work coordination.
- Demonstrated experience handling data systems and/or digital risk management applications
Desirable:
- Qualified Fire Safety Advisor as per the Queensland Building Fire Safety requirements
- Certificate IV Workplace Training and Assessment
Employment Requirements
- Have the right to work in Australia.
- Hold a current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card) or be willing to obtain one prior to commencement.
