SJG Midland Public Hospital are seeking two passionate and motivated Enrolled Nurse's (EN) to join our dedicated nursing team on our Medical Ward. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive and team-oriented environment where you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care while continuing to grow your career.

As a member of our friendly and approachable team, you will be responsible for the provision of a high standard of patient care in a safe and effective manner. As an Enrolled Nurse, you will be under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.

The two positions will be offered on a 12 month fixed-term part time basis, working 35 hours per week.

All applications will continue to be considered for permanent and casual positions as they become available over the next four months.

The Position

- Function within legal and registration constraints in relation to enrolled nursing practice.
- Maintain and develops clinical skills in order to deliver patient care appropriate to level of competence.
- Deliver a high standard of patient care utilizing appropriate resources cost effectively.
- Adhere to and supports hospital policies, procedures and standards.
- Act as the patient’s advocate and protects the rights of individuals.
- Provide patient education and participates in discharge planning, where applicable or as required.
- Participate in quality improvement activities.
- Demonstrate a courteous manner to internal and external customers.

You will hold current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA), demonstrating a strong commitment to delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centred care and achieving positive patient outcomes.

You will possess well-developed interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and build collaborative relationships with patients, families, colleagues,



and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

To succeed you will have an ability to work effectively and harmoniously within the multi-disciplinary health care team, with a commitment to ongoing education and professional development. Minimum 2 years previous experience within a hospital environment or similar setting will be highly regarded.

- Enrolled Nurse Salary: $75,179 to $80,192 (pro rata for part-time), plus 12% superannuation
- 12 month, fixed-term part-time position, working 35 hours per week
