Director of Business Development

to help us grow across Victoria.

The opportunity We are looking for someone who already knows the Melbourne workplace, facilities, commercial property, architecture, design, and fit‑out ecosystem.

The right person will understand how major workplace projects come together. You may already have relationships with workplace managers, facilities managers, corporate real estate teams, property managers, commercial landlords, workplace consultants, architects, design firms, or commercial fit‑out companies.

Your role will be to expand the Melbourne market for Yellowbox, build strong industry relationships, create new opportunities, and help convert those opportunities into successful projects.

What you’ll own You will be responsible for building Yellowbox’s presence across Melbourne and Victoria.

identifying new opportunities across corporate workplaces, commercial buildings, end‑of‑trip facilities, and large office environments

building relationships with workplace, facilities, property, design, architecture, and fit‑out stakeholders





developing referral and partner relationships with firms that influence workplace projects

meeting clients in person across Melbourne and Victoria

running discovery conversations, product demonstrations, site visits, proposals, and commercial follow‑up

managing a high‑quality pipeline from first conversation through to close

working with the Yellowbox team across sales, growth, operations, and product

representing Yellowbox at relevant Melbourne workplace, property, facilities, and design events

feeding market insights back into the business so we can better understand the Victorian market

Who we’re looking for We are looking for someone who is already connected to the Melbourne market.

You will likely be a strong fit if you have:

Strong existing knowledge of the Melbourne workplace, facilities, property, design, or fit‑out market

5+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, partnerships, account management, or relationship‑led commercial roles

Experience with CRMs and a track record of pipeline accountability

Comfort working independently in Melbourne while staying closely connected to our Sydney‑based team

A proactive, practical, commercially sharp approach

Own a key growth market for a global workplace technology company

Sell a practical product that solves a real operational problem for workplaces and facilities teams

Build relationships with leading workplace, property, and design stakeholders in Melbourne
