We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Enrolled Nurse with experience in Recovery/ PACU to join our clinical team on a Full-time basis. Monday to Friday flexible roster, no on-call, no public holidays, closed 3 weeks over the Christmas/ New Year period.
Duties And Responsibilities
This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes.
- Recovery for Endoscopy and minor procedures
- Assist the nursing team to deliver safe, evidence-based patient care
- Ensure the theatre complex and equipment are ready for surgery
- Ensure patient safety and communication with surgical team is always a key focus
- Monitor and evaluate patient recovery, addressing any complications
- Deliver education and support to patients for the management of their recovery
About You
You have a genuine passion for nursing, providing world-class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare. You will have:
- Solid experience in Recovery/ PACU nursing
- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse
- Experience in the below specialties desirable
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
