Head of Distribution & Investor Relations

A leading Australian private markets investment manager, backed by a prominent family office, is seeking a senior distribution professional to lead capital‑raising and investor engagement across the wholesale market. The firm has a strong track record across private credit and alternative asset strategies and is entering an exciting phase of growth.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Partners, the Head of Distribution & Investor Relations will take ownership of developing and executing the firm’s distribution strategy, driving capital inflows across family offices, private wealth managers, high‑net‑worth investors, independent financial advisers, and key research and platform relationships.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute a national distribution and investor relations strategy
- Raise capital across existing and future private markets fund offerings
- Manage and deepen relationships with family offices, private wealth firms, IFAs, and research houses
- Build and maintain relationships across the platform and consulting ecosystem
- Deliver high‑quality investor communications and reporting




- Partner with investment and product teams to refine market positioning

About You

You’re an experienced distribution professional with a strong network and a proven track record raising capital within the wholesale or advised channel. You bring both strategic perspective and execution strength, with credibility across sophisticated investors and intermediaries.

Experience & Attributes

- Demonstrated success raising capital from family offices, private wealth managers, HNWs, or IFAs
- Deep understanding of the research, platform, and consulting market
- Strong grasp of private markets or alternative investments
- Confident communicator and natural relationship builder
- Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset suited to a growing, high‑performing business
