About the role

We are seeking a Manager for our Retail Hair & Beauty store in Maitland. This is a full-time position that offers a fantastic opportunity to manage a agile retail environment within the hair and beauty sector. You will be responsible for driving sales, leading a team, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. T

Key responsibilities

- Lead and manage a small retail team to achieve sales targets and key performance indicators

- Oversee daily store operations, including stock management, visual merchandising, and store presentation

- Train and motivate staff to deliver outstanding customer service

- Monitor and analyse sales performance, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement

- Manage inventory levels, ordering and stock control to minimise wastage and maximise profitability

- Create and implement strategies to drive customer loyalty and repeat business

- Maintain knowledge of current hair and beauty products, trends and industry developments





What we're looking for

- Proven experience in retail management with hands on experience as a hairdresser.

- Excellent customer service orientation with a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences

- Sound knowledge of retail operations, including stock control, merchandising and visual displays

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills at all levels

- Proficiency with retail management systems and point of sale software

- A passion for the hair and beauty industry and current trends is highly desirable
