Job Description
The SHE Senior Manager provides senior client-side leadership and governance of workplace health & safety across the Games minor venues program, combining strategic oversight with the credibility to engage confidently at every level, from client and executive conversations through to site leadership and delivery teams.
How you'll make a difference:
- Provide senior oversight and governance of workplace health & safety across the Games minor venues program, acting as the client's key safety representative.
- Attend governance meetings and provide regular reporting on safety performance, program risk and assurance activities.
- Guide the broader team's approach to safety systems, spot checks, audits and verification, ensuring consistency and rigour across the program.
- Partner closely with delivery contractors, providing senior-level guidance across a geographically spread program covering venues throughout Queensland.
- Represent safety at a polished, executive level, translating on-the-ground performance into clear updates for client leadership and senior stakeholders.
Qualifications

The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don't tick all the boxes, you could still be a great fit for this role, we encourage you to apply.
- Degree qualified in a safety-related discipline (preferred), with ICAM Lead Investigator certification.
- 20+ years' experience in a senior safety leadership role, ideally gained within a large contracting organisation at Associate Director level or equivalent.
- Strong track record across construction, infrastructure or utilities environments, with exposure to large-scale, complex delivery programs.
- Proven ability to engage confidently at executive and client level, as well as with site leadership and delivery teams.
- Brisbane CBD based, with flexibility to travel across Queensland as required.
