LR Driver – Air Crew & Private Airport Transfers (Cairns)

About the role

We're a Cairns-based passenger transport operator looking for a reliable, professionally presented LR driver to join our team. You'll be transporting airline crew between Cairns Airport and their accommodation, along with private airport transfers for other clients.

Flight schedules don't keep office hours, so this role suits someone who's comfortable with early starts, late finishes, weekends and public holidays. Rosters are set in advance around crew movements, and shifts are consistent for the right person.

What you'll be doing

- Transferring airline crew between Cairns Airport and city/beaches accommodation, on time, every time
- Private airport pick-ups and drop-offs for individual and corporate clients
- Assisting passengers with luggage and providing a courteous, skilled service
- Completing pre-departure vehicle checks and keeping vehicles clean and presentable
- Monitoring flight arrival times and adjusting pick-ups accordingly
- Basic run sheets and trip records

What you'll need

- Current LR (Light Rigid) licence or higher, with a clean driving record
- Current Queensland Driver Authorisation (DA)

- Availability for early mornings, nights, weekends and public holidays
- Excellent presentation and grooming – you'll be the face of the service for international airline crews
- A friendly, punctual and discreet manner with passengers
- Good knowledge of Cairns and the northern beaches
- Reliable communication – you'll receive job updates by phone/app
- The right to work in Australia

Experience in crew transport, hotel/resort shuttles, charter, taxi, limousine or bus driving will be highly regarded, but full training is provided.
