The Role

As Assistant Manager, you will be the key operational support to the General Manager and play a pivotal role in the day-to-day success of the venue. You are a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and leads from the front while setting the standard for service, culture and execution. Whether it's a busy nightclub service, a packed bistro or a lively afternoon in the Beer Garden, you'll be instrumental in ensuring every guest experience is memorable.

Working closely with the General Manager, you'll take ownership of the venue's daily operations including leading shifts, opening and closing procedures, cash handling and banking,



staff training and development, recruitment, rostering and ensuring compliance standards are met. You'll act as a mentor and coach to the leadership team and broader crew and help drive engagement, accountability and performance across the business.

This role is ideal for an experienced Assistant Manager or Venue Manager looking to step into a true second-in-charge position within one of Sydney's most iconic hospitality venues. Experience in high-volume pubs, late-night venues or entertainment-focused operations will set you up for success.
