About Our Client

Our client is a well-established engineering and fabrication company delivering high-quality welding and fabrication solutions across a range of industries. Due to continued demand, they are seeking an experienced 2nd Class Welder to join their workshop team based at Perth Airport.

What You Will Be Doing

As a 2nd Class Welder, you will be responsible for completing quality welding and fabrication work while maintaining a safe and productive workshop environment.

Your duties will include:

Performing MIG welding and general fabrication duties.

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings where required.

Producing quality welds in accordance with company standards.

Operating welding equipment and workshop tools safely.

Assisting with general workshop and fabrication tasks.

Inspecting completed work to ensure quality standards are achieved.

Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment.

Working collaboratively with the workshop team to meet production deadlines.

Roster

Monday to Friday.

38-hour working week.

Start and finish times to be confirmed directly with the client.

Ad-hoc and occasional overtime available.

Immediate start available.

Initial 16 month assignment with the potential to transition to permanent employment.

What You Will Need

Previous experience as a 2nd Class Welder.





Demonstrated welding and fabrication experience within a workshop environment.

Ability to produce high-quality welds with strong attention to detail.

Current Driver's Licence preferred.

Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
