Our director, Justeen Dormer, has over 28 years of legal experience, having previously worked as a Senior Associate in a top-tier firm before founding Dormer Stanhope. We are a collaborative, client-focused team committed to excellence in Wills and Estates law.

The Role

We seek a dedicated Wills and Estates Solicitor passionate about estate and succession planning. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a supportive, high-performing environment and is eager to grow their expertise in Wills and Estates law.

Key Responsibilities

- Advising clients on estate and succession planning matters
- Drafting high-quality legal documents and correspondence
- Managing probate and estate administration matters
- Assisting with all aspects of conducting and defending proceedings in the Equity Division of the Supreme Court of NSW, including:
- Legal research
- Drafting observations to Counsel
- Writing correspondence




- Interviewing witnesses and drafting affidavits

- Advising executors, administrators, and beneficiaries on deceased estate administration
- Collaborating with a team of experienced legal professionals
- Attending professional training, seminars, and conferences to expand your expertise

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

- 1+ years PQE in Wills and Estates law
- Strong academic background and excellent research skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and strong organisational abilities
- A collaborative and optimistic attitude
- A keen interest in equity and succession law and a desire to specialise in this area
- Admission to practise law in NSW (Completed or undertaking a Masters in Wills and Estates is highly regarded)
