Our client is a leading luxury menswear brand seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join their team on a full-time basis.
This is an opportunity for a polished and confident retail leader who understands the importance of exceptional service, personal presentation and building long-term client relationships. With a strong focus on luxury suiting, you'll work closely with customers to deliver a highly personalised styling experience from initial consultation through to purchase.
The Role
Working closely with the Store Manager, you'll play a key role in the performance of the store while remaining hands-on with customers and the team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Store Manager across daily operations
- Leading and motivating the team on the sales floor
- Delivering personalised suiting and styling consultations
- Building and maintaining a strong client book
- Driving sales, KPIs and individual performance
- Coaching team members on product and service
- Ensuring the showroom reflects luxury brand standards
- Managing customer appointments, alterations and follow-ups
- Taking ownership of the store when required
About You
We're looking for an experienced retail leader who is confident working with a discerning clientele and understands the level of service expected within luxury menswear.
You'll ideally bring:
- Previous Assistant Manager or senior retail experience
- Experience within luxury, premium or menswear retail
- Robust consultative selling and clienteling skills
- A confident understanding of menswear and styling
- Proven ability to lead and coach a team
- Strong commercial and KPI awareness
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A polished, professional and personable approach
- High attention to detail and presentation
