Edwardian Tiles is a boutique tile company established over 30 years ago. Based in Myaree, we specialise in tessellated, heritage, wall tiles, stones and mosaics as well as lighting and bathroom accessories. We also work closely with our South Australian companies, Eco Tile Factory & Adelaide Restoration Centre.
We are currently looking for a part time to full time Commercial & Retail Sales Consultant to join our team. We seek a person experienced in sales and passionate about Interior Design.
Key Responsibilities
- Showroom cutsomer service, including design assistance, product selection and providing quotations
- Meeting with and assisting architects and designers from concept through to building stage
- Liaise with builders and tilers, including providing pricing for tenders
- Maintaining showroom displays
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience working in sales and retail environment
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Exceptional customer service skills to enable the sales process to be qualified and friendly
- Work well independently and as part of a small team
Other Requirements
- Physically fit as there is some lifting/ manual handling involved
- Available on the occasional Saturday to cover staff leave if required. (9am-2pm)
- Interested in a long term position
- Have Australian work rights
Tile experience is highly regarded (but not essential) as we will train and help you to learn about our products and how to sell them.
