Position Type: Fixed Term - Full Time until 30 June 2027 (9 day fortnight, 36.25 hours/week)

Salary Range: LGO8 - $124,099 - $140,194 per annum + super

About The Role

About you:

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Asset Compliance team during a period of significant change and improvement. The team is growing and evolving, with many newer team members developing their knowledge and capability. A key focus of the role will be to provide leadership, coaching and support to help the team build strong foundations, establish consistent ways of working and deliver high-quality outcomes. You will play an important role in creating an engaged, capable and confident team that is positioned for long-term success.

The successful candidate will also lead critical work to strengthen asset data, information and business processes as Council prepares for the transition to OneCouncil. Building on lessons learned through recent improvement initiatives, the role will focus on documenting processes, clarifying roles and responsibilities, improving data quality and establishing the fundamental building blocks needed for reliable asset management and compliance. It is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on how Council manages its asset information and supports better decision-making into the future. Reporting to the Team Manager Asset Strategy and Compliance, you will play a key role in ensuring our asset data is ready for a move into our new ERP.

You Will Demonstrate:

Experience leading,



developing and mentoring teams through change and improvement.Strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to build productive relationships across operational, technical and corporate areas.Experience documenting business processes, improving ways of working and driving continuous improvement initiatives.An ability to analyse information, solve problems and translate complex issues into practical actions and outcomes.Experience working with data, information, governance, compliance, asset management, business systems or related disciplines.A commitment to developing team capability, fostering collaboration and creating a positive workplace culture.Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.A current Queensland Class C Driver Licence.
