Our client, a well-established food manufacturing business in Thomastown, is looking for a reliable, hands-on Factory Cleaner to join their production team. About the Role

You'll play a key part in keeping the factory floor, production areas, and equipment spotless and compliant with food safety standards — supporting the production team to keep operations running smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing
Washing, scrubbing and sanitizing floors, drains, walls and equipment in production areas
Cleaning buckets, utensils, bins and Eurobins used throughout the factory
Removing rubbish and keeping external and internal areas tidy
Restocking changeroom, sanitizer and hygiene stations
Operating a forklift to move pallets and equipment as required




Other cleaning duties as directed by Production Management/Coordinators

What We're Looking For
Current forklift licence – essential
Previous cleaning, production, or food manufacturing experience highly regarded
Basic understanding of Positive Manufacturing Practice (GMP) principles
Comfortable working with detergents, chemicals and cleaning equipment
Physically fit – able to manage manual handling, bending, and standing for extended periods
Full Australian Working Rights
Driver's Licence and Own Reliable Transport
