Allied Health Assistant (AHA) – Sprout Speech Therapy

Locations: Eastern Suburbs (Randwick/Bondi) & Bankstown

Sprout Speech Therapy is seeking a warm, organised Allied Health Assistant to support our paediatric clients across the Eastern Suburbs and Bankstown.

Clinic based work in our beautiful space in Bankstown.

Mobile work in both Bankstown and Randwick + surrounding suburbs.

About the role
Provide play‑based practice and repetition of therapy goals
Deliver 1:1 sessions under supervision of our Senior Speech Pathologist
Follow structured plans, activities, and data‑collection systems
Support families with school/home practice and generalisation
Flexible hours across both locations

Qualifications & Requirements
AHA Certificate III/IV or progress in a relevant degree (Speech Pathology, OT, Education, Psychology)
Experience working with children or in disability/NDIS settings
Strong communication and rapport‑building skills
Reliable, organised, and confident working independently with clear guidance
Valid Working With Children Check
Current Police Check
Driver’s licence and access to a car (preferred but not essential)

Clientele

At Sprout Speech Therapy, you’ll support a diverse paediatric caseload including:
Clients aged 2–18 years with varying communication needs
Neurodivergent learners, including children with autism, gestalt language processors, ADHD, intellectual and developmental delays
Early‑language clients working on play, interaction, and foundational communication
School‑aged children needing support with early literacy, expressive/receptive language, and social communication
Implementing AAC use across settings
NDIS and private participants
Families seeking warm, practical guidance for home practice and generalisation
